Not just a chassis.
Voyager chassis are designed to be more than transit cases. They greatly enhance the Voyager system of system’s modularity by organizing and powering the network modules. This intelligently planned nested uninterruptible power supply (UPS) capability allows subsystems to be carried within larger chassis for multi-enclave operations, yet remain quickly severable should a subsystem need to be separated for individual operations. This means, the chassis itself powers and charges the battery-backed network modules that can therefore be removed for remote operation with no downtime. Voyager chassis also may be customized or specially designed to support unique operating environments or deployment platforms.
Voyager chassis are thoroughly rugged, interoperable, and allow the system to scale with your mission and operate across a diverse range of deployment platforms.
Voyager 1 is a rugged battery pack that mates seamlessly to the back of the Voyager modules providing integrated UPS capability for the module and external devices.
With the addition of a mounted HAIPE encryption device and VoyagerESR or VoyagerVM, the battery powers a full secure network enclave. Voyager 1 can be powered from a larger chassis’ power backplane or from a DC-DC or AC-DC power adapter.
Voyager 2 supports combinations of any two Voyager network modules depending on mission requirements. (Options include but are not limited to: classic red-black access with two VoyagerESRs plus HAIPE, single enclave with high port density using a VoyagerESR plus SW14, and radio integration using VoyagerLMR plus VoyagerVM running Twisted Pair WAVE).
The Voyager 2 fits neatly into the Voyager 2 Transit Case.
The award-winning Voyager 8 is a carbon fiber, airline carry-on-size transit case with a rack-mountable chassis that can host up to four secure network enclaves with HAIPEs, or be configured as a high port density, single enclave system.
It provides uninterruptible power for up to eight Voyager network modules, or up to four secure network enclaves, with wide-ranging AC and DC power input.
VOYAGER 8 PLUS
As traditional reachback network architectures are supplemented by the need to analyse data on the edge of the network, your compute and communications requirements have grown. The Voyager 8 Plus chassis increases the power budget of Voyager 8 by 50% to support Klas’ Xeon-based compute modules and the expanding range of radio interface brackets.
VoyagerExpress provides the all-in-one benefits of the AN/PSC-15 GRRIP (a first-in, secure, communications fly-away kit) while leveraging the modular architecture of the Klas Voyager range. VoyagerExpress provides all you need for secure access to a remote network with integrated Cisco routing technology in the same small package as GRRIP.
The VoyagerRRCS 1 and 2 leverage the modularity of the Voyager networking system to allow users to populate Voyager 2 chassis with whatever network modules they require and mount them in a rugged transit case. The VoyagerRRCS-1 can house a single Voyager 2 chassis, and the VoyagerRRCS-2 houses two Voyager chassis.
