CISTECH Solutions has an array of partners around the world, who's technology we couldn't help but fall in love with as soon as we saw it. One of these partners is Skybase, an unmanned aviation company creating true unmanned BLOS aircraft solutions for all industries.
In August of 2018, we traveled to Alexandria, NZ to assist Skybase with a demonstration for a number of Defence, Government and volunteer agencies throughout NZ that would benefit greatly from the cutting edge technology they displayed. The demonstration showed how their unmanned aircraft systems could be used in tactical, disaster and strategic settings.
Our engineers at CISTECH assisted by providing our engineering and integration expertise in developing a solution to allow their world-class unmanned aircraft systems to feed data anywhere in the world using the Wave Relay radio system with integrated Cloud Relay.
Using the Cloud Relay functionality and the L3 Cheetah deployable satellite communications terminal, we displayed how the Skybase platforms could be piloted anywhere in the world using Mobile Ad-Hoc Networking (MANET) and seamless Layer-2 transport over Layer-3 bearers. This would allow first responders to have 'eyes in the sky' much faster and at a much lower price than employing a manned system to do the same job.
